How To Prepare The Miniature Danish Pastry Collection
Tutorial No. 1: Danish Pastry Dough is designed to guide you during the blending process while Tutorial No. 2: Danish Pastry Dough offers comprehensive photos that illustrate the rolling portion of the recipe. Once those tasks are complete, the dough may be shaped into small Fresh Blueberry Pinwheel Danish or Fresh Blueberry-Ricotta Danish Turnovers while a simple folding technique offers even more visual interest & it’s yet another style of Danish that may be produced from the same Danish Pastry Dough. Learn how to create them by following these instructions.
The Technique
Miniature Fresh Blueberry Pinwheel Danish & Miniature Fresh Blueberry-Ricotta Danish Turnovers may be prepared by cutting the Danish Pastry Dough into 2 1/2-inch squares. Proceed with recipe instructions for the larger pastries as directed. The last style may be prepared by pressing two opposite corners to the center over the Fresh Blueberry Filling. Brush a little of the egg white where the pastry meets & press to adhere. Then brush it over the surface of the dough & sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake all of the small versions in a preheated 400 degree oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Dust with a bit of powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
