Tarts may be prepared from a variety of dough styles from a Pâte BriséePâte Sucrée or Pâte Sablée. Once it has been fit in the pans, ingredients may be added & designs from dough may be topped over surfaces.

The Pastry Dough

A basic pastry or pie dough prepared from flour, sugar, salt, fat & ice cold water may be used to prepare classic tarts & tartlets. Expect a lower yield of finished baked goods when upper crust designs are prepared & a traditional dough formula is used.

Cool completely.
