Pinto Beans

Pinto beans are probably most notable for authentic Mexican recipe applications. If seasoned well, they may be served as a side dish or cooked & used as a recipe component in order to make many delicious items such as burritos, chimichangas & more. They are wonderful in appetizers or may be added to soups & chilis for a heartier meal. The good news is that pinto beans may be purchased in the dry form or ready to use in cans. The latter makes recipes preparations a bit quicker. If purchasing them dried, once they have been soaked, it’s just a matter of a little cook time that is needed in order to season them. Plan to simmer in approximately 8 cups of water or better yet chicken broth for 2 hours or so or until tender. Learn how to soak dried beans for use in an array of applications.
