How To Tint Frosting For Decorating Sugar Cookies

Tinting frosting is a pretty straightforward technique. Two main points should be taken into consideration. First, begin with a small amount of food coloring paste, blend it into the frosting completely, then decide if more should be added to create the specific coloration you’re trying to achieve. Second, use a clean wooden pick for each addition. This will keep the food coloring paste available for later projects. Once you are satisfied with the hue. Stir the mixture thoroughly to be certain it is well mixed.
