Chimichurri

Fresh herb sauces take classic grilled beef & pork to new heights. Chimichurri, with Argentinian origins, is an uncooked condiment that may be used for cooking or table side to add taste & depth to foods. Green versions make use of many herb combinations whilst red feature paprika & peppers. A smattering of crushed red pepper flakes offer particularly good heat to this recipe. Learn how to make a basic chimichurri in your very own kitchen.

How To Make Chimichurri

A food processor is an excellent investment tool in the kitchen. It’s ideal for making salsa, salad dressings & sauces plus indispensable for chopping nuts for cakes & cookies. Chimichurri comes together quickly when made in one.

This versatile formula offers the flexibility to be prepared with a variety of your sill garden favorites. Substitute basil, tarragon or mint for equally tasty results. Using a garlic press first to break it up before adding to the food processor will allow for it to be distributed more easily. Once that task has been handled, simply add the remaining ingredients to the food processor, then turn it on. Scrape down the bowl sides several times during the procedure. It will take approximately 1 minute & the chimichurri will be complete.
