The recipe was developed using a 1000 watt microwave oven. Adjust the time, if necessary.

The Provisions Bakeshop & Larder: Buttermilk Truffle Brownie Mix
3/4 cup butter
1/3 cup buttermilk
3 eggs

Line a lightly greased 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper allowing 2 inches to extend over the sides. Coat the pan with cooking spray. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Microwave 3/4 cup butter & the chocolate chips from packet in a large glass bowl on High 60 to 75 seconds. Whisk the mixture until smooth. Whisk in 1/3 cup buttermilk & 3 large eggs. Add the brownie mix from packet. Blend just until combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Using a small offset spatula, smooth the surface. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until set. A wooden pick should hold a few moist crumbs when inserted in the center. Cool completely, about 2 hours. Lift the brownies from the pan & transfer to a cutting board. Slice into squares. Store in an air tight container up to 3 days or freeze up to one month.
