Buttermilk Truffle Brownies
makes 16 servings
The recipe was developed using a 1000 watt microwave oven. Adjust the time, if necessary.
The Provisions Bakeshop & Larder: Buttermilk Truffle Brownie Mix
3/4 cup butter
1/3 cup buttermilk
3 eggs
Line a lightly greased 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper allowing 2 inches to extend over the sides. Coat the pan with cooking spray. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Microwave 3/4 cup butter & the chocolate chips from packet in a large glass bowl on High 60 to 75 seconds. Whisk the mixture until smooth. Whisk in 1/3 cup buttermilk & 3 large eggs. Add the brownie mix from packet. Blend just until combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Using a small offset spatula, smooth the surface. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until set. A wooden pick should hold a few moist crumbs when inserted in the center. Cool completely, about 2 hours. Lift the brownies from the pan & transfer to a cutting board. Slice into squares. Store in an air tight container up to 3 days or freeze up to one month.

How To Make Buttermilk Truffle Brownies
One of the easiest ways to slice brownies is to be able to remove the entire recipe from the pan. Do not skip the step of lining it with parchment paper & be certain to allow them to cool completely before completing the process for neat & tidy squares.
The Technique
A few pieces of equipment will be necessary in order to complete the task. Read through the recipe before beginning. Here’s what you should know.
