The Hostess Gift
It’s always best practices to arrive to gatherings with a gift in hand for the hostess. She has taken great care to create a beautiful party space that includes thoughtfully planned food & a festive atmosphere so extending a little something to her upon your arrival is always appreciated. When casual summer entertaining is underway, playing off of the seasonal nature of the event is a lovely way to accent the moment. A hostess gift should be something she may enjoy for herself long after the party is over. If she is a known for making beautiful pies, a styled basket of fresh peaches from the farmers market would be wonderfully received but if you have a few minutes to prepare something yourself, all the better. Classic Barbecue Seasoning can be stirred together & portioned into jars quickly. Wrapping a little ribbon or butchers twine around the neck of the bottle gives it a sweet look. Accompany a note with the gift including the recipe & suggestions on how to use the blend. Get ready to wow friends & family with this delicious seasoning perfect for a host of family meal solutions.

How To Prepare Classic Barbecue Seasoning
Classic Barbecue Seasoning is essentially a dry rub that can be used to flavor chicken, pork or hamburgers. Use a 1/2 cup to add zip to 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, the exterior portions of a whole chicken or 1 1/2 pounds of pork tenderloin. Sprinkle the blend into 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef before forming hamburger patties to impart delightful flavor directly into them.
