How To Craft Gridiron Cookies

Pantry staples plus a few essential pieces of equipment are all that is needed to make this fun idea. Reserve a spot on your starting line up for a stand mixer, a rubber spatula, a pastry pin, cookie cutters & a few half sheet pans. When baking cookies, make note that full sheet pans will bake slightly longer than those that are only partially filled. If you will be using cookie sheets or other pans in lieu of the half sheet pans, just know the bake time may vary slightly according to the thickness. Particularly when trying a new recipe for the first time, check the progress halfway through the bake time called for in the recipe. Rotate pans to ensure even browning, if necessary. Lastly, check the low end of the bake time range as oven performance varies from model to model.
