Presoaking the shrimp in hot sauce imparts bold, spicy flavor with minimal effort. A quick sauté on the stovetop in a fraction of the butter makes it a smart snack choice compared to traditional deep fried versions.

1 lb {31-40 count} fresh shrimp, peeled & deveined
1/3 cup hot sauce
Bleu Cheese Rémoulade Slaw
1 Tbsp butter
12 slider buns, split
2 Tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp blue cheese crumbles
Naturally Fresh Brand Lite Ranch Dressing

Combine the shrimp and the hot sauce in a small bowl.
Cover and chill 2 to 4 hours.

Prepare the Bleu Cheese Rémoulade Slaw.
Chill until ready to serve.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a non-stick 10-inch skillet over Medium heat.
Pour off any liquid that may have accumulated from the shrimp & discard.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet using a slotted spoon.

Scoop out 1-inch of the soft bread from the top & bottom halves of the buns.
Add a heaping tablespoon of Bleu Cheese Rémoulade Slaw
to the bottom halves of the buns. Top evenly with the cooked shrimp.
Top with a little additional Bleu Cheese Rémoulade Slaw.

Sprinkle with the cheddar & the blue cheese crumbles.
Drizzle with Naturally Fresh Lite Ranch Dressing.

feel free to substitute Lite Bleu Cheese Dressing for an equally tasty option.

1/2 cup Naturally Fresh Brand Bleu Cheese Dressing
2 Tbsp Creole mustard
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1 {10-oz} package angel hair cole slaw mix
1 celery rib, sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
3 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper

Stir together the Naturally Fresh Brand Bleu Cheese Dressing,
the mustard & the lemon zest in a large bowl.
Add the slaw mix, the celery, the parsley, the chives & the pepper.
Toss well to combine.
Use as directed.
