How To Cook Vermicelli

Cooking vermicelli noodles is a straight forward process. Pasta may be cooked, cooled & flash warmed in boiling water to make mealtime even more simple at a moments notice. Take care of these tasks when you have a bit of time to make weekday dinners fast. Immediately rinse the hot cooked pasta under cold water to stop the cooking process which will preserve the shape & texture. Toss them in a little olive oil or butter to keep the noodles separated– although the sauces will not cling as effectively once rewarmed, the trade off is being able to offer a home cooked meal quickly to your family during the busy week. Chill the noodles & use as desired with in a few days.
