How To Make A Spice Scented Potpourri

Whether recipes call to use ground cinnamon or sticks, this popular holiday spice offers such versatility & value in the kitchen. Beyond adding it to baked goods & warm beverages, cinnamon sticks may be used to gently & naturally scent your home when entertaining.

Fill a Dutch oven halfway with water. Add 5 cinnamon sticks, 3 star anise, 10 allspice berries, 1 tablespoon of cloves & 1 thinly sliced orange. Bring the mixture to a boil over Medium-High heat, then reduce the temperature to Medium-Low. Simmer up to 1 hour to fill your home with warm holiday scent.
