Since the leaves are so tender, it’s important that they remain in the original container until ready for use. It may be stored in the refrigerator up to 5 days or so before using. Remove the stem & rinse the leaves under cool water then dry them throughly between sheets of paper towels to remove any excessive moisture. Use them whole or tear the leaves with your hands to maintain optimum texture & appearance.
