Lemon-Butter Asparagus
makes 4 servings
1 lb asparagus, trimmed
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Garnish: Lemon slices
Cut the asparagus into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Melt the butter in a large sauté pan over Medium-High heat. Add the asparagus. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the salt & the pepper. Stir in the lemon juice & blend until coated. Transfer to a serving plater. Garnish, if desired.
