Let The Good Times Roll

A formation of irresistible rollups & breakfast burritos make a lovely display when dressed out in effortless wraps that borrow a few trick plays from the football field. Wooden craft numbers & picks positioned in the center of festive paper strips go long & steal the game when arranged just so on a table of tasty tailgating snacks. Call a time out & make a quick six to have your next spread option looking it’s very best.

Gridiron Sandwich Wraps

Liven up a platter of ordinary food with a little pep & color.
Gridiron Sandwich Wraps are a cinch to make with a few quick moves.
Follow my tips & make a stash right away.

The Technique

Cut  8 x 1 3/4-inch strips of paper from card stock.
Use shades of green or team colors. Add a contrasting pattern or neutral, if desired.

Snip wooden picks to measure 3/8-inch & attach to the center of the card stock with glue.
Place wooden numbers on either side of the pick to resemble the football field.
Attach them with glue & allow to dry.

Wrap sandwiches with parchment paper first, then finish with the charming pieces.
Layer with contrasting colors for a beautiful tailgating spread sure to score big on style points.
